Red Bull is hosting a global electronic music event series this summer.
Red Bull Midsummer will land in seven cities around the world on 20th June, hosting a co-ordinated series of daytime events in New York, Tokyo, Mumbai, Vienna, Berlin, London and Los Angeles.
Taking place over a 28-hour period, a real-time broadcast on site will link each event, allowing audiences to connect with each other across the globe in one holistic experience.
Curated in partnership with local promoters and collectives, line-ups for reach will mix international heavy-hitters with homegrown emerging talents. Headlining the Vienna event will be Australian star and ‘Losing It’ hitmaker FISHER, while recent DJ Mag cover star Jyoty will headline in London. DJ Seinfeld will lead the programme in Berlin, while Young Art boss TOKiMONSTA will top the bill in LA. In Tokyo, electronic polymath Vegyn will headline, while Andre Power and Arjun Vagale will bring the energy to New York and Mumbai respectively.
Red Bull Midsummer intends to “draw from the legacy of daytime electronic music experiences – from early acid house gatherings to Ibiza’s open-air culture” and to “reinterpret [them] at a global scale”.
