The results for the Top 100 DJs 2026 poll have been announced
The announcement comes 15 years after Guetta first claimed the title in 2011. The French DJ also topped the poll in 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025. This historic win makes him the first artist to claim the Top 100 DJs title six times, moving ahead of Dutch heavyweights Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, who have each won five times.
Now more than four decades into his career, Guetta remains as prolific as ever. In 2026, he has continued to keep one foot in the mainstream and another in the club, reuniting with Afrojack and Sia on ‘Awake Tonight’, launching the Men Machine project with Marten Hørger, and continuing to expand his Future Rave concept with MORTEN. He also teamed up with ARTBAT for a remix of Gotye and Kimbra’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’, and joined Andrea Bocelli, Megan Thee Stallion and EJAE on the official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem, ‘DNA (More Than A Game)’.
Collaboration remains a cornerstone of his career, partly because of what it teaches him. “The worst thing that can happen to a producer is to think you know it all,” he says, adding that working across different styles and taking inspiration from sessions with younger artists helps keep him motivated.
“It’s the first time I didn’t have a summer pop hit, but it was still the biggest summer I’ve ever had,” he says, adding that his flagship Ibiza residencies — Galactic Circus at [UNVRS] and F**K ME I’M FAMOUS! at Ushuaïa — sold out quicker than ever. It’s something he’s proud of in the age of AI, when “everything can be faked, but the one thing you cannot fake is selling tickets”. The response underlines the enduring appeal of his accessible, emotional, sing-along dance music.

Guetta’s Galactic Circus residency also entered its second year at [UNVRS] Ibiza, where he has continued to explore a more club-focused side of his sound. This year’s run has included his first-ever B2B set with Carl Cox, as well as the debut of ‘Caught Up’, a forthcoming collaboration with Marlon Hoffstadt.
The Frenchman has also continued to push his live show to new levels. Playing three sold-out Stade de France shows in 2026, featuring guest appearances from Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Black Coffee, Jennifer Lopez, Akon, Bebe Rexha and Black Eyed Peas, saw him shift more than 240,000 tickets across three performances in Paris. He has since taken his Monolith show to Red Rocks, Coachella and arenas and stadiums across Europe, while continuing to hold down his two Ibiza residencies. In summer 2027, he’ll bring the live spectacle to London’s O2 as the venue celebrates its 20th anniversary.
That kind of epic live experience is something he plans to double down on, driven by the belief that human connection is becoming more valuable as AI and social media increasingly shape people’s lives. “Social media was supposed to connect people, but I think it is making people very lonely. And I think the value of real human connection is gonna be higher than ever,” he says.

For the second consecutive year, the World’s No. 1 DJ was revealed live in Ibiza at [UNVRS]. The evening featured DJ sets from Lost Frequencies, Charlotte de Witte, GORDO b2b Vintage Culture, ANASTAZJA and Korolova, plus a two-hour headline set from Guetta, who was crowned No. 1 during the ceremony.
In 2026, DJ Mag has again teamed up with Bridges for Music to host a fundraising campaign around the Top 100 DJs poll results. Every artist in the poll is being invited to celebrate their inclusion in Top 100 DJs 2026 by sponsoring the education of at least one young person from an under-served community at the Bridges for Music Academy in Langa, South Africa.
The initiative follows last year’s fundraiser, which saw 42 artists from the Top 100 DJs donate a combined £170,832, making it the largest single fundraising campaign in Bridges for Music’s history.
