The incident occurred two days before the start of the electronic music festival in the city of Boom, Belgium.
Tomorrowland spokesperson Debby Wilmsen stated that the plan is for the festival to continue as scheduled starting Friday, July 18, but there will be no main stage, nor will there be a second weekend, July 25-27.

Several music festivals have been affected by all sorts of terrible weather incidents, from torrential rains with lightning to tornadoes, windstorms, and even a minor earthquake at Coachella in April of this year. But never before has a fire broken out on a festival’s main stage two days before its start.
The cause of the Tomorrowland fire is still unknown, but the prosecutor’s office in Antwerp, Belgium, has launched an investigation. No one was injured in the fire, and Tomorrowland still plans to open its camping area today, Thursday, July 18.
Tomorrowland reports that some 400,000 people will attend the event over its two weekends.
