Error messages and long digital queues frustrated fans who were rushing to get tickets.
Online platforms were overwhelmed by demand.
More than a million tickets went on sale Saturday morning, priced between 74 pounds (about $100) and the 506-pound ($666) VIP package that includes a pre-show party and merchandise. All were sold.
Within hours, however, tickets began being offered on resale websites for as much as 6,000 pounds ($7,800). Oasis issued a warning, saying tickets could only be resold at face value through authorized sites.
“Tickets listed on other secondary ticketing sites are counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters,” the band said in a statement.
The tour is scheduled to begin July 4 and 5, 2025.
