Cali is Colombia’s third-largest economic power and the largest metropolis on the country’s west coast.
It is, of course, an important cultural mecca and an invaluable center for artistic development.
It’s no secret that Cali is the epicenter of the Pacific music movement, which constantly fuses different genres, but above all, it defends its position and status as the Salsa Capital of the World.

In its quest to maintain its importance in the music business and industry, Cali, along with fans, media, business leaders, and promoters, is fighting to ensure the city maintains and aspires to increase its market share. This was cemented in December of last year when Cali received the best news in recent years: the opening of a new venue, the USC Arena.
Located on the grounds of the Santiago de Cali University, the USC Arena promises a brighter and more prosperous future for live music and performing arts events, not only in Cali, but throughout the nation.

Opened in December 2024, the Arena has already hosted more than 25 shows, ranging from concerts featuring rock, salsa, and popular music stars to children’s shows, theater, conferences, and conventions. It is a multipurpose venue with refined details in its architectural, technical, and logistical design. In addition to its 800 underground parking spaces (unique in the city), the USC Arena features a bar, restaurant, its own ticket office (QR tickets), air conditioning, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems for the enjoyment of the venue’s 2,200 seats.
