Tate McRae will achieve her first number one album tomorrow when the US Top 200 albums chart is updated with the third album of her career, “So Close To What.”
The album will debut directly at the top of the chart thanks to its 177,000 units sold.
This will be the best-selling album by a woman in its first week in five months.
Tate Rosner McRae will turn 22 next July.
The Canadian singer, songwriter and dancer first gained popularity as the first runner-up on the reality series So You Think You Can Dance in 2016 when she was a teenager.
