The album MARTY will also feature Garrix’s own vocals.

More than a decade after bursting onto the scene with “Animals,” the award-winning Dutch DJ Martin Garrix is finally releasing his debut pop album.

MARTY, a 14-track project that sees Garrix stepping up to the microphone, is set to be released on March 5, 2027, via STMPD Records/Darkroom Records. Garrix confirmed the news during an exclusive Spotify event—a pop-up that kicked off the Amsterdam Dance Event on Wednesday (October 21)—where he gave his most loyal listeners a preview of several new songs.

“Even though I’ve been doing this for almost my entire life, I feel like I’m just getting started,” he remarked. “That’s really what this album is about: growing, moving through different stages of life, and realizing that the love we give and the energy we put out into the world don’t disappear when we’re no longer here. I want to invite people to join me on this journey and experience all these stages of growth alongside me.”

MARTY takes its name from his first DJ alias, “DJ Marty”—a nod both to his old catchphrase, “Party with DJ Marty,” and to the boy whose dreams are coming true today. The album’s opening track, “Catharina,” serves as a tribute to Garrix’s mother and sets the stage for the record’s overarching narrative, in which each song represents a new chapter in his story.

As a prolific DJ and producer who has operated under various aliases, Garrix has built an impressive roster of top-tier collaborators. Several of them appear on MARTY, including Madonna, U2, Ed Sheeran, and Aitana. It is worth noting that Garrix collaborated with Madonna on “Bizarre”—a profound track featured on her album Confessions II, which topped the Billboard 200 and dominated the summer—while this year he unveiled new collaborations with Ed Sheeran (“Repeat It”) and U2 (“Fireflies”). “This Dream of You,” a progressive house track introduced earlier this month during the opening of his headlining set at Tomorrowland, is the latest single from this body of work.

Garrix is currently in the midst of his Martin Garrix Americas Tour, the first leg of which has just concluded. The next leg will begin on October 31 at the OMNIA nightclub in Las Vegas; the tour will then visit several cities across Central and South America, ultimately concluding with the three-day Ultra Music Festival in Miami, running from March 26 to 28.

Martin Garrix is one of the most commercially successful dance music artists of his generation. Throughout his career, he has placed six tracks on the Billboard Hot 100, including two that reached the top 40: “Animals” (No. 21) and “In the Name of Love” (No. 24)—the latter a collaboration with Bebe Rexha. Furthermore, he has notched an impressive 32 entries on the Dance Airplay chart, including three tracks that hit No. 1: “Higher Ground” (with John Martin), “Told You So” (with Jex), and “MAD” (with Lauv).
