“CHILDREN” is the new EP by Bon Calso, where he argues that when feelings are genuine, they remain. Even as we move on, grow, lose, and accumulate experiences, they only transform how we understand them.
Bon Calso opens this new work with “Sin Un Plan” (Without a Plan) and takes complete control of the direction and production to construct a new sonic, visual, and emotional language. This consolidates the new artistic phase he has been developing since the beginning of the year.
Through the two collaborations on the EP, the Madrid-based artist authoritatively occupies his place in the current scene and organically builds a bridge across the contemporary art world. In Diamantes, he joins forces with Rels B, one of the most relevant contemporary voices in Spanish-language music; this is followed by CASINO, featuring SouzReptil1k17, a founding member of the ANB collective and an essential icon for understanding, from the depths of Madrid’s underground scene, an entire generation of artists.
The final stretch culminates with Patrulla, which reaffirms the central idea of this work: that change doesn’t necessarily consist of destroying what one was, but rather reconciling with it and observing it from a new perspective.
The project closes with ACT. I (NO END), a piece that functions as an outro and leaves the story open, without offering a definitive ending. It raises a toast to those who remain, to what has been left behind, and to all that still remains to be done.
