3. The Beach Boys are rescheduling the remaining dates of their North American tour so that their legendary singer Mike Love (85) and the band can “recharge.”
The announcement was made via a post on Mike Love’s Instagram page, where the 85-year-old vocalist wrote that the break was intended to allow the veteran band to catch their breath before returning to the stage in the fall.
“Playing for you is the highlight of our summer every year, especially now as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and the 60th anniversary of the Pet Sounds album,” said Love, the only remaining original member of the group, in a statement. “We’ve had a blast on tour, and to keep the good energy going, we’re taking a short break to recharge before hitting the road again in September.”
4. Bad Bunny’s Tour
Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos world tour, which just wrapped up, grossed $467.5 million during its eight-month run. This makes it the highest-grossing tour by a male Latin artist in history, surpassing Luis Miguel’s 2023-24 tour ($409.5 million).
Bad Bunny came close to breaking Shakira’s record for the highest-grossing Latin tour of all time. His Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour, which is still ongoing, has grossed $479.2 million as of its July 14th concert in Newark, New Jersey.
