Universal Music Latino and Telemundo are joining forces this summer to bring Operación Triunfo Estados Unidos to life, the American version of the celebrated music competition that premiered in Spain in 2001 and helped launch the careers of international stars like David Bisbal, Aitana, and Lola Índigo.
During the competition, the contestants will live together in an academy where they will receive comprehensive training in singing, acting, dancing, and other artistic disciplines.
The show premieres on July 7. David Bisbal is one of the judges. Mexican actress Natalia Téllez will be the host.
