Ablack: The New Star of Regional Urban Music

Author

Ablack has a new song. It’s “Pétalos” (Petals), an anthem of overcoming adversity and loyalty that captures the essence of rising from nothing to the top.

In this visualizer, Ablack explores the duality between material success and gratitude towards those who were there from the beginning.

The Concept

The song narrates the transition from a life of hardship to a reality where “money rains down.” It’s a celebration of prosperity achieved through an unwavering mindset and divine protection.

Central Theme

The artist emphasizes that, despite the luxury and the diamonds, his absolute priority remains his inner circle: “Only my family and those who walked with me.”

Sound and Attitude

With a cool yet determined tone, the track positions itself as a declaration of independence and success in the face of those who didn’t believe in his path.

“Pétalos” is not just a song about money, but about the value of loyalty and the triumph of rising from nothing to become someone “high-value.”

The song is submitted for consideration for the 2026 Latin GRAMMY Awards.

The 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be held on November 12, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nominations will be announced on September 16, 2026.

Ablack is one of the youngest voting members of the Latin Recording Academy (L.A.R.A.S.).
