Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Carrboro will be the final cities of this special tour.

The iconic Colombian band Aterciopelados announces the official U.S. closing leg of its Genes Rebeldes Tour — a special run focused on what is vital and essential — culminating in March 2026 with four intimate concerts conceived as close, intense, and deeply emotional encounters with the audience.

This announcement follows the group’s successful appearance during the most recent Grammy Awards, where Genes Rebeldes was nominated for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, reaffirming Aterciopelados’ artistic relevance and lasting influence within contemporary Latin rock.

The tour takes its name from the band’s latest studio release — an album that engages with the present moment while preserving the critical, poetic, and rebellious spirit that has defined the group across more than three decades.

The final U.S. dates will visit Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Carrboro, at emblematic venues chosen to deliver powerful, high-energy, and intimate performances designed for direct connection with the audience.

The setlist will include essential classics such as “Florecita Rockera,” “Bolero Falaz,” and “Maligno,” alongside songs from Genes Rebeldes including “Agradecida,” “Apocalipsis,” and “Mor,” among others — a musical journey celebrating past, present, and future.

These four shows — in four special venues — are conceived both for the Latin audience that has supported the band for decades and for new listeners continuing to discover Aterciopelados’ distinctive and socially engaged sound.
