Kenke Fest returns to Lake Eola Park on October 10 for a second edition that aims to establish the festival as a cultural platform for independent Hispanic music and a gathering place for the migrant community.
The lineup already features confirmed appearances by Mario Duarte, renowned for his work leading the band La Derecha; Subcantante, lead singer of Doctor Krápula; Jimena Ángel; and Martín Velilla. Organizers are continuing to work on the artistic program and will soon announce many more guest artists joining this celebration of Hispanic music and culture in Orlando.
The festival’s second edition will feature a total of 14 musical acts: ten emerging artists selected through an international open call and four established guest artists. In doing so, Kenke Fest seeks to bring new talent and highly experienced artists together on the same stage, offering the public a diverse program with free admission.
The international open call is aimed at artists performing original music, regardless of their country of origin. The ten selected acts will share the stage with the guest artists and receive support to cover travel and accommodation costs—an initiative through which the organizers aim to reduce the economic barriers that often limit the reach of independent talent.
Over ten continuous hours, the audience will enjoy 14 live performances featuring a professional stage and production setup, alongside a variety of food options, brand activations, and a marketplace showcasing migrant entrepreneurs.
Admission will be completely free and open to people of all ages. In this way, Kenke Fest seeks to offer an accessible and safe cultural experience where migrant families and the local community can come together through music, celebrate their roots, and strengthen their sense of belonging.
Beyond its artistic lineup, the second edition marks a significant step in establishing Kenke Fest as a global, traveling platform. With Orlando serving as its operational base, the project is developing a technical, legal, and production model that can be replicated in other cities and countries, connecting the Hispanic diaspora through music and culture.
This vision addresses the need to create high-quality spaces that showcase emerging talent, support the development of independent artists, and enable them to reach multicultural audiences, while also bringing the public closer to established artists such as Mario Duarte, Subcantante, Jimena Ángel, and Martín Velilla.
The lineup of guest artists is not yet complete; Kenke Fest continues to confirm new names that will be announced in the coming weeks via its official channels.
For 2026, Kenke Fest anticipates an attendance of between 2,000 and 2,500 people, including locals, tourists, and visitors from other states and countries. Its inaugural edition drew over 1,200 attendees to Lake Eola Park for a twelve-hour event featuring music and family-friendly activities.
The program included ten live performances: four acts selected through an open call and six guest artists, including AlcolirykoZ, Perros Criollos, and Kenke. The event proceeded without incident and was supported by organizations such as the Consulate of Colombia in Orlando, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, Mubarak Law, and the COAMED Foundation.
With this second edition, Kenke Fest reaffirms its mission to serve as a space for representation, artistic exposure, and integration for a community that finds in music a way to keep its roots alive, even far from home.
