Beyoncé has revealed the extensive tracklist for the upcoming 20th anniversary reissue of her second solo album, “B’ Day.” The reissue will feature 27 tracks, including B-sides, five Spanish versions of her songs, and a 60-page commemorative booklet. The album will be released on September 4.

Originally slated for release in 2004, “B’ Day” was planned as a follow-up to her solo debut album, “Dangerously in Love” (2003). However, it was delayed to accommodate the recording of Destiny’s Child’s final studio album, “Destiny Fulfilled” (2004), and Beyoncé’s starring role in the film “Dreamgirls” (2006). While on vacation after filming Dreamgirls, Beyoncé began contacting producers and rented Sony Music Studios, completing the album in two weeks during April 2006. Most of the album’s lyrics were inspired by Beyoncé’s role in the film, with musical styles ranging from 1970s and 1980s funk influences and ballads to contemporary urban elements such as hip hop, pop, and R&B. Live instrumentation was used on most of the songs as part of Beyoncé’s vision to create an album with live instruments.
