Some stages welcome artists, while others mark a turning point in their careers. Such was the case in Colombia, where Puerto Rican Moa Rivera, known as “the sensual voice of salsa,” had an unforgettable debut, captivating audiences during his performances in Cali and Medellín.

The first stop was La Calle del Sabor in Cali, the city with the strongest salsa tradition in Latin America, where the singer was enthusiastically received by a crowd that danced and sang along to every one of his songs. His energy on stage and his connection with the audience confirmed that his musical style resonates with a new generation of salsa lovers.

The following day, Medellín once again demonstrated why salsa holds a privileged place in the city, during the Viva la Salsa concert, which kicked off the musical program of the renowned Feria de las Flores (Flower Festival).

There, Moa Rivera experienced one of the most special moments of his career when he shared the stage for the first time in Colombia with his father, the renowned salsa singer Jerry Rivera, in a performance that thrilled the audience and celebrated the legacy of a family that continues to write its history to the rhythm of salsa.

This warm reception from the public also reflects the impact of “Ella,” the singer’s latest single, created especially for the dance floor, which has garnered an excellent response in several nightclubs in Medellín, Cali, and Bogotá.

With an increasingly solid artistic identity, a contemporary approach, and a genuine connection with salsa fans, Moa Rivera continues to solidify his path in music, leaving no doubt that a new figure in salsa is beginning to make his mark on the most important stages in Latin America.
