OiLO Recording Studio and Salsaneo Records are once again betting on a raw, danceable sound inspired by the traditional salsa of the 1970s with the release of the album “Salsa Para el Bailador Vol. 2.” Its sound is reminiscent of Manny Oquendo’s Orchestra and his Conjunto Libre, the unforgettable New York Experimental Orchestra. Maestro Oscar Iván Lozano, OiLO, has created this wonderful work with his horn section of three Colombian trombones and his magnificent piano solos.

Oilo Recording Studio and Salsaneo Records, based in Seattle, WA, present the new album by the Colombian orchestra Curao En Salsa, led by maestro Oscar Iván Lozano, better known as OiLO.
The album is titled “Salsa Para El Bailador Vol. 2” and includes 12 tracks: 9 original songs and 3 covers. This is the second album by “OiLO” with his project Curao en Salsa, the first of which, “Salsa Para El Bailador Vol. 1,” was released in 2018.
For Vol. 2, Oscar Iván Lozano invited renowned singers such as Carlos Guerrero, Charlie Guzmán, Osvaldo Román, Charlie Cardona, Willie García, Mauro Castillo, Mikel Dinza, and Carlos Guerrero.
The Chocoan producer, arranger, composer, and pianist Oscar Iván Lozano “OiLO” was the musical director of Grupo Niche. He has also participated in various recordings as a pianist for Grupo Galé, Mike Bahía, Andrés Cepeda, Ricky Martin, ChocQuibTown, Los Hermanos Moreno, Son de Cali, Ronald Borjas, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Orquesta Yambao, and Jimmy Saa. He is currently the musical director and pianist for Willy García’s orchestra.
Maestro Lozano is a favorite among salsa dura fans and has established himself as one of the leading figures in the salsa dura underground movement worldwide.
