FISHER is set to make his voice acting debut in Toy Story 5.
The Australian DJ and producer will voice a character named Garden Gnome in the upcoming Disney and Pixar film, which is set to debut in UK cinemas on 19th June. His character is part of a group of forgotten toys living in an abandoned backyard shed, with Disney describing him as “fiercely protective of teatime and his kid.”
Sharing the news on Instagram, FISHER described it as “wild,” saying, “I honestly just can’t wait to watch this with [my wife] Chloe, [and kids] Bobbi and Andi.”
In a press statement, he added: “I am incredibly excited to be part of Toy Story 5. This is a franchise that my family and I have loved for years.”
Many of Toy Story’s key characters and voice actors are set to return for the franchise’s latest instalment, with Tom Hanks featuring as Woody, Tim Allen voicing Buzz Lightyear and Joan Cusack returning as Jessie.
