In the new video for the official World Cup song, “Dai Dai,” by Shakira and Nigerian singer Burna Boy, some of the biggest stars in football appear, including Luis Díaz, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, and Vinicius Jr., greeting the crowd with the phrase “Se Are Ready.”
The video also features images of Pelé, Maradona, Ronaldo, and “El Pibe” (Juan Daniele Valderrama).
Filmed in Miami, the music video opens with Shakira perched atop Mexico City’s iconic Angel of Independence.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off on June 11 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City and concludes on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which will be renamed New York-New Jersey Stadium for the tournament.
Shakira will also be one of the headliners for the World Cup Final halftime show, along with Madonna and BTS.
