Chilean singer Kidd Voodoo continues his winning streak with the release of “Euforia,” one of his most anticipated works. The project is now available on all digital platforms, reaffirming the artist’s current success, as is the case with each of his performances.
The Chilean artist’s brand-new album, “Euforia,” will mark a new era in his musical career, representing a turning point and transforming him from a local figure into a global star. A website with a countdown timer and an Instagram account under the name @eufooooria reflect the anticipation surrounding this new work from the music star hailing from the Maipú district, located southwest of the Chilean capital.
“When I started working on ‘Euforia,’ everything took a very different path than usual. To be honest, I tried to make this album similar to my previous ones, but the situation I was going through inevitably led me down this path. I had my first performance at the Viña del Mar Festival, I did 12 shows at the Movistar Arena, my first stadium show, and also my first international tour,” says Kidd Voodoo, adding:
“Personally, I had to go through some very painful breakups, like my parents’ separation. The creation of ‘Euforia’ is one hundred percent related to what I’ve experienced and how I felt about this event,” Voodoo explains, describing the genesis of the songs that make up this new project.
One of the main highlights of this musical work lies in its collaborations. Across eight songs and three performances, Kidd Voodoo brings together artists of the caliber of Mon Laferte, Pablo Alborán, and Rels B, solidifying a new stage of international projection for the Chilean artist. Among the standout tracks is “Dando Vueltas,” featuring Pablo Alborán, a song that is part of an album recorded in Pichilemu, mastered in the United States, and mixed in Mexico.

“They are eight rock-pop songs characterized by a rather dark and somewhat melancholic atmosphere. Many people were involved who helped me achieve the sound we wanted. It’s a project that explored several paths to arrive at what you’ll hear. It was a very beautiful project,” says Kidd Voodoo.
