That’s a sharp increase from about 10% of daily uploads reported in early 2025.
AI-generated music accounts for 44% of all daily uploads to Deezer, or nearly 75,000 tracks, the streaming platform has revealed.

The Paris-based streaming company announced the significant increase from early 2025 analysis that found 10,000 AI-generated daily uploads, about 10%, in a 20th April press release on its AI-detection tools. (A June 2025 Deezer report found that AI-generated daily uploads statistic already growing to 30,000 tracks, or 28%.)
85% of the AI-generated music on Deezer is deemed fraudulent and demonetised, and makes up just 1% to 3% of total streams. The AI-generated tracks are also not considered for algorithm recommendations and editorial playlists.
“AI-generated music is now far from a marginal phenomenon and as daily deliveries keep increasing, we hope the whole music ecosystem will join us in taking action to help safeguard artist’s rights and promote transparency for fans”, Deezer CEO Alexis Lanternier said in a press statement. “Thanks to our technology and the proactive measures we put in place more than a year ago, we have shown that it’s possible to reduce AI-related fraud and payment dilution in streaming to a minimum.”

The patent pending AI-detection tools, launched in January 2025, are available for licensing. Since the launch, the tool has detected more than 13.4 million AI tracks on Deezer. In
