NASA: These are the eight songs the Artemis II crew is having fun with in space

Author

NASA launched the Artemis II mission on April 1, sending four astronauts—Jeremy Hansen, Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman, and Christina Koch—aboard the Orion spacecraft to the Moon. A week into their journey, the space crew created a playlist to keep them active each day of their flight.

“Each song was selected by the lunar crew, continuing a tradition that began more than 50 years ago,” NASA explained, along with a photo of the astronauts on Instagram.

The playlist

1. “Sleepyhead” by Young & Sick, the solo musical project of Dutch artist Nick van Hofwegen.

2. John Legend and André 3000’s 2008 Hot 100 hit, “Green Light.”

    3. “In a Daydream” by the Freddy Jones Band. A Chicago group.

    4. “Pink Pony Club” by Chappel Roam.

One of the breakout singers of the past year. Grammy winner for Best New Artist of 2025

    5. “Working Class Heroes (Work)” by CeeLo Green. 50-year-old Atlanta rapper

    6. “Good Morning” by Mandisa and Toby Mac. Mandisa was a gospel singer. Toby Mac is one of the legends of Christian music.
