The legendary salsa ensemble Grupo Niche and Argentine artist Nathy Peluso will co-headline a special show on July 15 at the iconic Hollywood Bowl, where they will share the stage for the first time in a unique, one-night-only format bringing together two of the most vibrant forces in Latin music.
Recognized for her versatile and powerful style, Nathy Peluso has been praised by Billboard as an artist who “shines with the force of a hurricane” when performing salsa. In recent years, she has established herself as one of the most compelling voices in Latin music, seamlessly blending genres such as hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and salsa with a distinctive artistic identity. On this special occasion, Peluso will perform her repertoire backed by the full orchestra of Grupo Niche, before the legendary group—one of the most influential salsa orchestras of all time—takes the stage for a headline set celebrating its 46-year legacy with the classics that have defined the genre worldwide.
This encounter represents a fusion of generations and sounds: Peluso’s innovative energy and Grupo Niche’s masterful salsa tradition. Together they will deliver a show celebrating the richness and diversity of Latin music, connecting with audiences of different nationalities and ages. The artistic affinity between the two was already hinted at when Peluso mentioned Grupo Niche in the lyrics of her 2025 song “Erotika,” a nod to the Colombian group’s influence and cultural relevance within the Latin music landscape.
The concert will also mark the opening of the Hollywood Bowl’s 2026 Jazz Plus series, a program celebrating the diversity of global music that this year will feature artists such as Herbie Hancock, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, and Buddy Guy, among others.
So far in 2026, Grupo Niche has continued a remarkable chapter in its career: its production Clásicos 1.0 earned a GRAMMY® nomination in the Best Tropical Latin Album category, while its collaboration “La Tierra del Olvido (Versión Salsa)” with Carlos Vives received a Premio Lo Nuestro 2026 nomination for Collaboration of the Year – Tropical, reaffirming the group’s continued relevance in contemporary Latin music. Ticket presales for the concert will be part of the official announcement of the Hollywood Bowl’s 2026 season and will begin on April 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (PST), while general single-ticket sales will open on May 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (PST). Fans will also be able to access the Choose Your Own (CYO) package option for the Hollywood Bowl’s 2026 season beginning March 24, 2026, allowing them to secure their spot for this highly anticipated night of Latin music.
