Grupo Firme is exploring new territory and has made its debut in the mariachi genre, proudly sharing the joy of Mexican folklore with the world in a genre recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

“Cabron y Medio” was co-produced by two geniuses: Joss Favela, “the pride of Sinaloa,” who has collaborated with regional artists such as Alejandro Fernández and Christian Nodal, and Ricardo Orrantía, a man behind the work of Banda El Recodo, El Bebeto, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, Banda Los Recoditos, Natalia Jiménez, and many more.

The lyrics of “Cabron y Medio” are an anthem of heartbreak and love that will never return. “What happened to us?/ It’s clear to me that you don’t want anything to do with me/ As for me, I’m still here/ thinking of you with every breath.”

According to the press release, “the song paints a picture of emotional vulnerability, where even a few drinks blur the line between memory and reality, making it seem as if that special person is still close.”

The music video, directed by Mane Borja, shows the group’s frontman, Eduin Caz, in an elegant traditional charro suit, complete with jacket, shiny trousers, vest, shirt, bow tie, and wide-brimmed hat.

Grupo Firme kicks off the Colombian leg of their “La Última Peda Tour” on April 18th in Medellín, and seven days later, on the 25th, they will perform at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium in Cali, a venue with a capacity of 40,000.

Before concluding their Colombian tour on August 8th in Bucaramanga, Firme will visit Pereira, Ibagué, Villavicencio, Neiva, and Cúcuta on the Venezuelan border.

“La Última Peda Tour” in Colombia is produced by DG Eventos and Stage Eventos.
