BTS’s new album, “Arirang,” debuts at number one on the Billboard 200, the chart that reports the best-selling albums in the United States each week.
“Arirang” is BTS’s seventh album to reach number one in the United States.
But BTS also debuted at number one on the Hot 100, the chart that ranks the 100 most popular songs in the United States each week, with “Swim.”
This is also the seventh time the K-Pop group has topped the Hot 100.
“Swim” is the 1,190th song to reach number one on the Hot 100 in its history. The chart was created by Billboard in August 1958, and it is the 89th song to debut at number one.
