Steve Rachmad celebrates 45 years in electronic music with first album in two decades

The Dutch techno legend has also announced a world tour and plans to release his full back catalogue on Bandcamp.

Steve Rachmad is celebrating 45 years in the music industry this year with a series of new releases and reissues.

As part of the campaign, the Dutch techno titan is set to release his first full-length album in two decades via Dekmantel. He will also roll out remastered versions of his entire back catalogue on Bandcamp, beginning on 20th March, alongside the launch of official merchandise tied to his aliases, including STERAC, Sterac Electronics and Parallel 9.

Alongside this, Rachmad has a batch of new releases planned for the year, including forthcoming EPs on TECHNO Records, Kynant Records and Dekmantel.

The DJ and producer is also embarking on a world tour, kicking off on 18th April at Amsterdam’s TILLATEC, with two solo sets and a b2b with Nastia. Benny Rodrigues, Shaleen and Vince Watson are also confirmed on the bill.

Revisit Rachmad’s mix he recorded at 909 Festival for the DJ Mag podcast back in 2018, featuring original cuts and remixes under his own name or as STERAC.
