New Latin Music: “La Linea” by Sofia LaFuente

Author

Sofía Lafuente releases “La Línea,” a new alternative pop single produced with Oliver Kid and Rodrigo Crespo, which serves as the closing track of her EP.

“La Línea” is Sofía Lafuente’s latest release, an alternative pop song with a synth-driven production and vulnerable lyrics that explore the tension between emotional protection and letting go when someone new comes into the picture. The song portrays that intimate moment when a barrier begins to blur and the impulse to cross the line becomes inevitable.

The single follows “Algo Real” and serves as the closing track of her EP, offering an honest reflection on vulnerability, the desire to feel again, and the risk involved in opening up once more. Developed with producers Oliver Kid and Rodrigo Crespo, the project solidifies Sofía’s sonic universe: introspective, emotional, and guided by the sensibility of contemporary alternative pop.

In addition to her career as an artist, Sofía has developed a solid body of work as a composer for Sebastián Yatra, Morat, VIOLETA, ROBI, and Marina Reche, among others. She has also participated in synchronizations for Love Island USA and The Parisian Agency, expanding the reach of her work beyond the traditional circuit.
