Over 115 acts will head to the Motor City in May
Movement Festival has confirmed the full line-up for its 2026 Detroit edition, taking place over Memorial Day weekend (23rd–25th May) at Hart Plaza.
Over 115 acts will head to the Motor City for the event, including international headliners Carl Cox, Sara Landry, and Dom Dolla.
Richie Hawtin, 999999999, ANNA, Barry Can’t Swim, Mochakk, KI/KI, The Dare, Boys Noize and MCR-T, TEED, Claude Von Stroke, The Ritual with Anané & Louie Vega, DJ Minx, and Detroit’s own poet laureate, Jessica Care, are also on the bill.
“Movement is one of my favorite festivals,” shared Dom Dolla. “The history, the scope of performers and range of people coming together from multiple generations and backgrounds, make it one of the most meaningful events to play.”

Fellow headliner Sara Landry added, “I’m so excited to be coming back to Detroit for Movement. The energy in this city is undeniable – I’m always thrilled to come back to the birthplace of techno. I’m going to bring something extra special to my set, and I can”t wait to share it with you.”
Movement Festival 2026 will also feature a number of b2b sets and special performances, including Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald reprising their celebrated Borderland project, Voices From The Lake (Donato Dozzy and Neel), and Carl Craig going b2b with Green Velvet’s alter-ego, Cajmere.
Kevin Saunderson, one of Detroit’s techno originators, will also be returning to the festival, with both a solo set and a performance with his son, Dantiez, as E-Dancer.

Elsewhere, Ellen Allien will be joined by DJ Stingray 313, Kyle Hall and Byron The Aquarius for a set, as will Colette and DJ Heather, while live performances will come from the likes of Audion, Blawan, Dax J, Terrence Dixon, and more.
