Harry Styles releases “Forever, Forever”

Before the new year, Harry Styles released new music for the first time in over two years. On Saturday, December 27, the former One Direction member gifted his fans the official video for “Forever, Forever,” an instrumental track he premiered on piano in Reggio Emilia, Italy, on July 22, 2023, his final concert of the Love On Tour.

The video reflects the nostalgia for the tour and the community Styles has built. It opens with two and a half minutes of clever footage of fans lining up outside the RCF Arena, where they could witness Styles’ final concert—a two-year tour that grossed $617 million and sold over 5 million tickets.

That July night in Italy, Harry Styles gave an emotional speech to his fans.

“I can’t do this if you don’t come,” he said. “I know that better than anyone. With you all here tonight, I know you wanted it to be special for me. You make it special for me every single night.”

“The atmosphere you’ve created, the family you’ve created, this safe space you’ve created. I want to thank you for everything,” Styles added.

His last music video was in the spring of 2023, when he released the video for the fourth and final single from Harry’s House, “Satellite.” The Harry’s House studio album had been released a year earlier, in 2022, and spent two weeks at number 1 on the Billboard 200.
