Let’s go back to 1967 in Bogotá, Colombia, at the Teatro La Comedia: We have one of the most representative groups of the era performing live… The theater is sold out, but not a single radio personality, photographer, or journalist to capture the event.

The band consisted of Humberto Monroy, bass and vocals; Ferdie Fernández, lead guitar, harmonica, and vocals; Fernando Córdoba, guitar; and Roberto Fiorilli, drums. Miguel Muñoz fondly remembers this historic moment in Colombian rock and has been planning a tribute to the group’s memory for years, albeit with his own songs, since nothing remains of their musical legacy: the project is called Miguel Muñoz y Siglo Cero.
The first song, “Qué Sientes,” composed by Miguel Muñoz and produced by Gonzalo Sargaminaga, has garnered nearly 200,000 likes in its 12 weeks on streaming platforms. It’s a wonderful song that effortlessly evokes Latin American pop-rock.
Miguel Muñoz and Siglo Cero are releasing a second single titled “Es Un Mundo Bello”, featuring a gentle and understated style that becomes almost a mantra, emphasizing that despite the cruelty and sadness of the planet’s current state, the world is still beautiful.
