Opal Drums are set to release a new remix EP, ‘Sarsen Cinema Remixed’, later this week. Have an exclusive first listen to Anna Morgan’s haunted remix of ‘Ultraviolet’ below.
Following the release of their debut EP, ‘Sarsen Cinema’, last month, Opal Drums – aka UK producer Jon1st and Denver-based artist Mux Mool – have enlisted an all-star cast to reimagine its tracks in their distinct style.
The six-track project expands on the duo’s immersive bass-forward sonics, exploring themes of “uncertainty, transformation and perception”. Remixers include Denver-based DMVU, London’s Arcane, Michigan-based producer and Metalheadz affiliate Sinistarr, rising bass artist Nikes, and dynamic LA duo Frythm and Seyaa.
Anna Morgan completes the set with her haunted remix of ‘Ultraviolet’, which flips the original into an 170bpm jungle showstopper, with fractured rhythms and otherworldly, whispering atmospheres.

The LA-based artist won Breakthrough DJ at DJ Mag’s Best of North America awards in 2023, and ran the Worst Behavior label alongside Bell Curve until its closure last year. In September, she dropped her latest single, ‘Entrem 160’, via RAIDERS, following a storming remix of Machinedrum’s ‘KILL_U’, featuring Tanerélle, released in the spring.
