From December 26 to 30, Caseta Carnaval del Sur (formerly Carpa la 66) in its new 2025 season confirms why it is one of the most popular venues at the Feria de Cali in Colombia for the past 17 years.

This year, according to its CEO, Carlos Paz, the five-day carnival will feature veteran artists such as Vallenato star Jorge Celedón, 80s dance singer now salsa star Brenda K. Starr, and Colombian regional music legends Segundo Rosero and Luis Alberto Posada, as well as rising stars like the fusion/urban collective Los Chilling Maniaticos and the popular music sensation El Agropeciario.
Cali is the third largest city in Colombia after Bogotá and Medellín, and is located on the country’s west coast.
After Salvador, the capital of the state of Bahia in Brazil, Cali has the largest Black population in the world outside of Africa.
Since the 1970s, Cali has been known as the Salsa Capital of the World.
