“’Put Your Bassline’ captures that balance of something driving and direct, but with both our identities in it,” said van Buuren.
Armin van Buuren and KI/KI have teamed up for their first collaborative single.
Landing on 24th October, ‘Put Your Bassline’ has been created as the “official anthem” to this year’s AMF festival, where the duo will perform a B2B set at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff ArenA this Saturday (25th October).
The track, a combination of van Buuren’s trademark trance tropes with KI/KI’s techno influence, revives AMF’s II=I concept, first introduced in 2017 with Hardwell and van Buuren.
“KI/KI and I come from different styles, but we share a passion for energy and progression”, said Armin van Buuren. “’Put Your Bassline’ captures that balance of something driving and direct, but with both our identities in it.”

KI/KI added: “We wanted to make something that represents both of us without compromise. It’s a straightforward club track built for the dancefloor and for this special AMF moment.”
AMF is part of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2025. The annual electronic music conference and festival takes place in the city from 22nd – 26th October and will feature the likes of Ben UFO, Chris Stussy, CARISTA, Rødhåd, Seth Troxler, Hannah Laing, Chloé Caillet, and many, many more. AMF itself will feature performances from van Buuren and KI/ KI as well as Hardwell, John Summit, Miss Monique, MORTEN Oliver Heldens, Sara Landry and Sub Zero Project.
In March, Van Buuren teamed up with Pendulum’s Rob Swire for collaborative single, ‘Sound of You’, following joint single ‘Is It Beautiful?’ with Ben Hemsley and Lucy Pullin, and ‘Euphoria’, with Alok, Norma Jean Martine and LAWRENT.
Meanwhile, this year KI/KI teamed up with Marlon Hoffstadt for ‘Losing Control’ as well as vocalist Storm Mollison for ‘Getting Ready For The Party’.
