Bad Bunny responded to criticism of the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show with a monologue on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in its season opener. 51.
“You may not know this, but I’m doing the Super Bowl halftime show and I’m very happy. I think everyone is happy, even Fox News.”
The segment featured a satirical montage of Fox News clips edited to make it look like the hosts were praising him: “Bad Bunny is my favorite musician and he should be the next president.”
“I’m very excited to be doing the Super Bowl. I know that people all over the world who love my music are happy too.” Then, in Spanish, Bad Bunny said:
“Especially to all the Latinos and Latinas around the world and here in the United States who have worked to open doors. More than my achievement, it’s everyone’s achievement, proving that no one will ever be able to erase or take away our mark and our contribution to this country.”
Bad Bunny closed the monologue with a funny note in English: “And if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn!”
