Kendrick Lamar was the top winner at the 2025 BET Awards, which took place last night at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
Lamar won five awards: Album of the Year for “GNX,” Best Collaboration for “Luther” with SZA, Best Male Hip-Hop Artist (for a record eighth time), Video of the Year for “Not Like Us,” and Video Director of the Year.
Kendrick Lamar is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2018, becoming the first musician outside of classical and jazz to receive it.
