HYBE Latin America will launch a reality show to find the next Latin boy band. HYBE is the South Korean company that created the BTS phenomenon and other global K-Pop artists.
HYBE is betting on Latin music with an ambitious new reality show. Production begins this week in Mexico City and aims to create a new all-male pop group.
The series will train and develop 16 boy bands from Latin American countries and Spain.

The project features executive director Kenny Ortega (“High School Musical”), choreographer Charm La’Donna, who coordinated Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Super Bowl, and Robert J “RAab” Stevenson, who has worked with Rihanna.
The 16 contestants officially arrive in Mexico this week, but pre-production for the reality show has been underway for months. Hundreds of applications arrived from across Latin America, Spain, and the United States, resulting in an initial shortlist of 300 candidates. The 16 finalist groups will begin intensive training at a training camp located in Mexico City’s Bicentennial Park.
The network that will broadcast the reality show has not yet been announced.
