Beyoncé caused a stir at the box office with the sales figures for the first five shows of her “Cowboy Carter Tour” at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which grossed an impressive $55.7 million.
The total number of tickets sold was 217,143, an average of $43,428 per night. Ticket prices ranged from $50 to $801.
In addition to the Los Angeles concerts, Beyoncé will also perform multiple shows this year in Chicago, New York, Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas. Six shows in London and three in Paris are also scheduled for June.
The final two shows of the tour are scheduled for Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, on July 25 and 26.
