Okean Elzy has been one of the most popular groups in Ukraine for more than two decades, and in the three years since Russia invaded the country, both the group and its leader Sviatoslav Vakarchuk have become symbols of the cause.
As the number of Ukrainian refugees living in other countries increases, the band’s music is also starting to be heard more outside of their home market.

Last year, the band released their first English-language album titled “Lighthouse,” and signed a global deal with Warner Music Group to expand their audience internationally.
