Three promising artists from Colombia and Chile

These young talents are looking for a preferential place among the next figures of music in their respective countries.

In 2025, the music industry will talk about TikTok, catalogs, Live Nation, mergers, ticket prices, ‘Streaming 2.0’, emerging markets, crackdowns on fraud on platforms, battles for AI regulation, consolidation of distribution, the future of biographical films, but above all, most of the efforts of executives and record labels will be concentrated on new talent.

Tyler Arnold of Mercury Records is convinced that many more artists in 2025 will succeed than we have seen in recent years.
Arnold says that the development of an artist is now a longer process, but if managers and companies are more patient and persistent, they can have incredible moments between 5 and 10 years after artists begin their career.

Here we have on the radar, three Latin artists from Colombia and Chile who are forging their careers in the industry. They have the serenity of their managers and it is likely that this year their careers will finally take off.

Colombia
Victor M
He is 18 years old and was born in Ibague, Colombia, the so-called musical capital of the country.
Víctor M has been surrounded by music since his childhood, a fact that is reflected in his ability to tell deep, authentic and at the same time funny stories. With a career on the rise, his new single, “Interés Rosado”, makes the long and difficult, but not impossible, road easier for him to become a figure in regional Mexican music, not in Colombia; he thinks of Mexico.
“I don’t just want to be known for my songs, I want people to remember me for the connection we achieved through music” he says.
In “Interes Rosado” Victor M explains:
“I wanted to capture the paradox of a youth that seeks unbridled fun, but often ends up trapped in an emotional void.”

Ablack
At 23 years old, this singer and composer from Cali began his career in 2019. He recorded several songs with Kapo, is a voting member of the Latin Recording Academy, has opened concerts for Kevin Roldan and Blessd and has taken home several awards including the Claro Music Awards.
He is a fan of the urban genre, but in 2022 he became interested in ‘corridos tumbados’ recording the song ‘Traicion’ which has more than half a million views.

Chile
Pierre La Voz, Chilean singer and songwriter of urban music and Latin pop is waiting for his moment of glory. He has had a series of hits on Youtube such as “Me Enamore”, “El Mujeriego”, “Tic Toc”, “La Nota” “Princesita”, “Ella” and “Déjame Tocarte” that add up to almost 100 million views.

What distinguishes Pierre La Voz is his ability to challenge the boundaries of traditional genres by combining the energy of Latin Pop and Urban music with the emotional nuances of R&B and the boldness of Hip Hop.
Pierre has created a proposal that is not only innovative, but also deeply authentic.
He was awarded the Influence Award last year in Toronto, Canada. He currently lives in Mexico.
