The Lebron Brothers, led by Angel Lebron, have announced that they will have a new album in January 2025.

They are one of the biggest and most iconic Salsa bands in history. Since 1967 they have created some of the key and glorious moments of Latin music and now after years of waiting, the Cali, Colombia-based band led by founder Angel Lebron, are ready to start a new era in their illustrious career with the release in January of a new album tentatively titled “Te Encontre”.

Maestro Angel Lebron, who is an absolute machine and a visionary who has never stopped, has a surprise for his millions of fans globally on the next album: The Lebron Brothers have a new vocalist.
It is America Lebron, his talented 17-year-old daughter, who will make her debut performing several tracks on the album.
So, Los Hermanos Lebron will reinvent themselves and refresh their brand that is recognized worldwide.

According to maestro Lebron, the inclusion of the young singer is “a challenge and a great responsibility” for his millions of classical followers, but it will also be an opportunity for new legions of fans to approach the orchestra.

This last year Angel Lebron has been in the studio and traveling around the world composing and shaping the concept of the new album. “Los Hermanos Lebron will begin a new era, and America will be a fundamental part of the process,” he says.

In addition to the production work on “Te Encuentrae,” a classic album by Los Hermanos Lebron was remastered, “Criollo,” and the double album “40 Aniversario, Vol 1 & 2” was re-released. Both are available on Amazon.

The album “Te Encontre,” according to maestro Lebron, will compete next year for the Latin Grammy in the Best Salsa Album category.

ABOUT THE LEBRON BROTHERS

The Lebron Brothers are one of the most original and distinctive salsa bands from New York, USA. They were formed in the mid-1960s and founded by Angel Lebron.

The band made their recording debut in 1967 when the R&B/Latin fusion style called “Boogaloo” was at the height of its popularity.

In addition to ‘Mala Suerte’, their debut album contained the hit singles ‘Summertime Blues’ (also known as ‘Funky Blues’) and ‘Tall Tale’.

When the Boogaloo Era ended and with it the careers of most groups, the Lebron Brothers managed to survive.

Fania co-founder Johnny Pacheco produced three albums for the band between 1975 and 1978.

Over the past 40 years, Los Hermanos Lebron have established themselves as one of the most influential salsa authorities on the planet, inspiring a host of orchestras.
