The song has already spent 15 weeks at number one.
“All I Want For Christmas is You” was originally released on the album “Merry Christmas” in November 1994, and as streaming has grown and holiday music has become more prominent on the Play Lists, it reached the Top 10 of the Hot 100 for the first time in December 2017, and the Top 5 during the 2018 holiday season.
The song held the No. 1 spot during the 2019 holiday season for three weeks. In 2020, it spent two weeks at the top, in 2021 three, in 2022 four, and in 2023 two.
This week, it kicks off its 15th week at #1 on the Hot 100.
