“I lived in a truck stop in a town called El Cabuyal, where only regional mexican music was played,” Kapo told Billboard. “I sang in small shops and truck parking lots, and that’s where I started to debut, without microphones, and people gave me coins. I wanted to be a global artist.”

Kapo will perform at the Odisea Flow Festival on December 29th as part of Feria de Cali, Colombia.
