His passing comes less than two weeks after his stepmother died from cancer.
Christopher passed away after a battle with cancer on Friday (Oct. 4) in Michigan.
“My brother Christopher is gone. He was the closest human being to me for so long. It’s hard to explain our bond. But it came from the realization that we were different. We held hands and danced through the craziness of our childhood. In fact, dance was kind of the glue that held us together. Discovering dance in our small Midwestern town saved me and then my brother came along, and it saved him too.”
The Queen of Pop has faced a lot of deaths in her family lately. Christopher’s passing comes less than two weeks after the death of Madonna’s stepmother Joan Clare Ciccone, who also had cancer.
His older brother Anthony Ciccone also passed away in February 2023 from respiratory failure and throat cancer. He was 66.
