Lady Gaga is in love. While on the red carpet at the premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux on Monday (September 30) in Los Angeles, the singer couldn’t stop gushing about her fiancé, tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky.
Polansky is co-executive producer of the film’s soundtrack, which features a mix of jazz classics and two new songs.
Polansky also has co-writing credits on a few songs on the “Harlequin” soundtrack, including “Good Morning,” “Get Happy,” “Oh, When the Saints” and “If My Friends Could See Me Now,” classics that the couple gave a lyrical and musical rundown of.
“I love my fiancé so much,” she told People. “He’s my best friend. He’s my partner, and I feel like when you’re with your best friend, everything changes.”
Lady Gaga also credited her fiancé for helping inspire her upcoming, as-yet-untitled seventh studio album, saying he was the one who convinced her to make an all-pop album. “He was like, ‘Honey, I love you. You need to make pop music,’” she said of the record, which is due out in February.
