On Tuesday, September 17, the list of artists, albums and singles nominated for the 25th edition of the 2014 Latin Grammys was announced, where as predicted, OSMAR PÉREZ AND GEÑO GAMEZ were nominated in the category “Best Cumbia/vallenato album” for their album “VALLENATOS PA ENAMORAR”.
Without a doubt, talking about romantic vallenato is talking about OSMAR PÉREZ, one of the figures of this genre that for decades has been characterized by creating songs that many have fallen in love with and cried over.
“VALLENATOS PA ENAMORAR is a direct trip to a little corner of my memories and every time I listen to these melodies I feel like time has gone back, that time where songs became part of daily life and therefore a part of life.” Osmar Pérez assures. This album was recorded and produced in Dolby Atmos Audio, this innovative format guarantees a greater listening experience that makes it immersive and the sound quality incomparable.
Additionally, this album has the participation of great artists and composers of the vallenato genre such as Iván Calderón, Tico Mercado, Fabián Corrales, Calixto Ochoa and on the accordion El Cocha Molina, Rubén Lanao, Jose Juan Camilo Guerra, Rolando Ochoa among others who give a unique and magical touch to those songs that the public likes so much.
