James Taylor was scheduled to perform just before President Biden took the stage, but his performance was ultimately cut short due to time constraints.
Democratic convention officials released a statement about the schedule change: “Due to the raucous applause that interrupted speaker after speaker, we ultimately skipped portions of our program to ensure we could get to President Biden as quickly as possible so he could speak directly to the American people.”
