Two greats of salsa join together to give life to a story of heartbreak and pain shared between friends. From Venezuela PROJECT A and for Puerto Rico YAN COLLAZO merge their voices in a song composed by the Argentine Luciano Pereyra.
“Si No Es Muy Tarde” tells the story of a man who tries everything to recover the love he lost, which he can’t get over and who asks him if he can still give him a new chance.
“When there is respect and admiration between colleagues, there is always the desire to record together. We met with the boys and their team and, by contributing ideas, we suggested this song, which is spectacular, and this collaboration took place, which for me is an honor to do with them,” said Yan Collazo.
“It is a project made with a lot of love for the public. We are attentive to the networks so that they can give us their opinion, enjoy it, criticize it and let us know what they think and how they receive it. It is made for you,” said the artists.
This song had the musical and vocal direction of Sebastián Velásquez, who for some years now has been in charge of giving shape and his own stamp to the sound of PROYECTO A and who has also collaborated with his group Aguanilé together with these two exponents of salsa.
The song was produced at EBD Records Ccs, in Venezuela while the video was shot in the city of Bogotá in Colombia, in which the artists are seen living that story of heartbreak with the same woman while in parallel they perform the song for their audience.
This song comes at a time when world salsa is gaining strength again in Latin America and salsa rosa continues to be one of the most acclaimed styles by the public.
Yan Collazo is also nominated for the Premios Mi Gente in the Best Salsa Song category with his hit “Me Sobrabas Tu.” The awards ceremony will take place on September 26 at the MedPlus in Bogota.
Yan Collazo is an artist managed by Ablack Productions Booking and Management.
