Billie Eilish sang “Birds of a Feather,” Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre teamed up for “The Last Episode,” and the Red Hot Chili Peppers performed “Can’t Stop” at the Olympic Closing Ceremony.
The ceremony also featured a performance by H.E.R., who sang the U.S. national anthem.
Tom Cruise, 62, put on quite a show by jumping from about 160 feet high, starting from the top of the Stade de France to the main stage, where gymnast Simone Biles gave him the flag, while the music of guitarist H.E.R played.
Tom Cruise took the banner, climbed onto a motorcycle and left the venue amidst a jubilant crowd, carrying the flag to Southern California, where he parachuted to the tune of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘Can’t Stop’. There he transformed the iconic Hollywood letters into Olympic rings, marking the start of the countdown to the Los Angeles Games.
