According to Variety, Lauryn Hill and The Fugees’ tour scheduled to take place this summer and fall has been canceled.
According to the publication, ticket holders received messages from Live Nation that read, “Your event has been canceled. A refund will be sent to your account soon.” At the time of publication, no reason has been given for the cancellation.
The 21-date tour was set to kick off tomorrow, Friday, August 9, in Tampa, Florida, and run for the next few months, ending on October 22 in Amsterdam.
The tour, which was set to reunite Lauryn Hill with The Fugees to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the number one album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” was also set to include music from The Fugees’ album “The Score,” with Lauryn Hill’s son, YG Marley, serving as the opening act.
The Miseducation anniversary tour was previously postponed in November after Lauryn Hill revealed she was struggling with vocal issues.
