Carnegie Hall’s Nuestros Sonidos festival has added Grupo Niche and Monsieur Periné from Colombia to its lineup, joining Natalia Lafourcade, Ivy Queen, Cimafunk and Gustavo Dudamel.
Carnegie Hall’s Nuestros Sonidos festival celebrates the “rich sounds, pioneering rhythms, diverse tradition and enormous influence of Latin culture in the United States,” according to the press release.
Concerts begin Oct. 8 with Gustavo Dudamel conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra in the Opening Gala, and will conclude May 22, 2025 with Cuban singer Cimafunk.
Grupo Niche will make its Carnegie Hall debut April 17 next year at the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.
Monsieur Periné will perform at Zankel Hall, a smaller venue at Carnegie Hall, with a capacity of about 600 people on Feb. 22.
