When Ramin Setoodeh asked Trump what he thought about her, he was effusive in his praise — about her looks, that is.
“I think she’s beautiful, very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s a liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I’ve heard she’s very talented,” he said. “I think she’s very beautiful — actually, unusually beautiful!”.
Swift was secretly rumored to be a Republican during the 2016 election cycle, before publicly endorsing Tennessee Democratic candidates Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives in 2018.
“In the past, I have been reluctant to publicly express my political opinions, but due to various events in my life and in the world over the past two years, I now feel very differently about it,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “I have always and will always cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.”
